ORICO hard drive enclosure is plug and play. There's no driver for it. If there's something wrong with the hard drive enclosure please contact our customer care team for help.
Connecting a hard drive to the hard drive enclosure is just like connecting a your hard drive to the inside of your computer. The hard drive enclosure itself will not corrupt your data. If your data has become corrupt, it is likely caused by removal of the enclosure while data was still being written to the hard drive.
Never remove the enclosure while data is being written to the hard drive! Doing so may cause the hard drive to become corrupt. Make sure all applications being run off the disk and all files in use are no longer in use before removing the unit.
Be sure to connect the USB cable to a rear port, directly off the motherboard or USB PCI card. The cables connecting front USB ports are not always properly shielded and cannot properly handle USB 2.0 speeds, thereby corrupting the signal between the enclosure and the computer.
If the hard disk storage is less than 2TB please choose MBR partition, else please choose GPT partition.
Please check the hard drive is a Sata mode hard disk. ORICO hard drive enclosure doesn't support IDE mode hard drive.
1.Put your hand on the hard drive enclosure to feel if the hard drive is spinning. If yes please check the device manager to see if there's a !device or ?device. Then you can install "drive the life to fix the driver"

The USB 3.0 hub is equipped with its own power adapter and data cable to ensure maximum compatibility. Use of the provided cables and adapters is always recommended. If you have lost the power adapter or data cable, please make sure the specifications of any accessory you intend to use correspond with those provided. To ensure stable performance, the length of the data cable should not exceed 1m.
We don't recommend using the hub as a standalone charger. The output current of the hub's USB ports is 900mA max. If you are using the hub to supply power, please make sure the input current does not exceed 900mA. The hub can’t supply enough power to iphones, iPads or any other smart phones.
This problem may be the result of one of the following:
a. Improper power-saving settings. Right-click “My Computer”, select “Attributes”, then “Hardware”, followed by “Device Manager”. Double-click “Universal Serial Bus Controllers”, right-click “USB Root Hub”, click “Attributes”, then “Power Management”. b. The computer can’t start because it can’t read system files. This occurs when the BIOS is set to “Start the Computer from the USB Device”. In order to solve this, change the setting to “Start the Computer from the Hard Disk”.
c. For Mac users, please uncheck the box "Put the hard disks to sleep when possible" under Energy Saver.
When the input current requirement of a connected device is higher than the output current of the USB port, a surge warning may appear. Connect the USB hub to a power source to ensure sufficient power supply.
If the problem persists, please check to make sure the USB driver is installed properly, or click the USB icon on the taskbar and select “Reset” to make sure the USB device is being identified correctly.
This problem may be the result of one of the following:
a. Insufficient power supply. Please connect the USB hub to a power source.
b. Compatibility issues between the motherboard and system. Please try refreshing the BIOS in the motherboard.
c. Incorrect insertion or unplugging. Do not unplug the device when transferring data in order to avoid damaging the chipset.
d. Improper driver installation. Under “Device Manager”, go to “Other Devices” and select “Universal Serial Bus Controllers”. If there are any yellow question or exclamation marks visible, uninstall the driver in “Device Manager”, then restart your computer. The driver will be reinstalled automatically.
If this problem is occurring with properly-installed devices, it is usually due to insufficient power supply. When the hub is transferring data - especially large amounts - make sure it is connected to a power source. In addition, we recommend connecting the hub to your computer with the cable provided. If not, please make sure the cable length is less than 1m, so as to ensure stable data transfer.
This problem may be the result of one of the following:
a. Insufficient power supply from the USB hub. Please connect the USB hub to a power source.
b. Insufficient power supply from the computer’s USB port. Please connect the USB hub to the USB port positioned on the back of the frame, instead of on the front, to ensure sufficient power supply.
c. The device is being plugged in too slowly. As a result of the USB 3.0 interface design, the system will recognize devices as USB 2.0 when they are plugged in too slowly, or section by section.
For maximum performance, connected devices should not exceed the combined current of the output of hub. Otherwise, output current may become unstable or disconnect entirely. See some commonly used devices' general requirements below:

Mac expansion cards don’t tend to support non-storage devices (more info is available from your expansion card manufacturer's websites). It is recommended that you plug hubs into the Mac’s built in USB ports.
This could be to do with the firmware on your Western Digital hard drive. Try installing new firmware, downloadable from the Western Digital website.
Some hard drives will remain active even without a signal from the computer. Whether your hard drive will do this or not depends on the manufacturer and design of your drive.

For the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, those antennas happen to be near the screen hinges along the back of the computer. Moving the hub away from this area could help to improve your WiFi signal.

This is probably being caused by insufficient power supply. The PCI-E interface provides some power, but the main source is the 4-pin DC connector. Ensure the 4-pin connector has been securely inserted into its socket on the motherboard.

The PCI-E card is compatible with all standard computer frames. For Mini frames, the Low Profile Bracket is needed to insert the card into the computer’s internal PCI-E port. Please note that the Low Profile Bracket is not included.
The interface types for PCI-E cards include: PCI-E X1/X2/X4/X8/X16. The most prevalent types are PCI-E X1, PCI-E X4, PCI-E X8 and X16, which are supported by our products. Remember to only connect to PCI-E slots when the computer is powered off.
There are 3 steps needed to install the PCI-E card:

The transfer speed of the USB 3.0 card reader is limited by the specification of the memory card in question. Currently, only high-speed memory cards, such as SDXC, CF (UDMA), Micro SDXC, HX MS, etc., are able to take full advantage of the USB 3.0 card reader’s capability.
